Description

The Civic Museum of Paleontology and Man, founded in 1996 and officially open to the public since 2002, is located inside Palazzo Majorano, an ancient 19th-century building located in the historic center of Lizzano. The Museum, born with the aim of revealing the evolution of life starting from fossils to arrive later at the cultural evolution of man, houses an important collection of artifacts dating back 600 million years originating from different parts of the world.
