The Museum allows you to observe many objects, from the Paleolithic, around 12,000 years ago, up to the sixteenth century, when Castro was the most exposed point on the border with the Ottoman Empire. Under the vaults of the Aragonese Castle there are also works of art from the classical period, made in Leccese stone, in particular the statue of the goddess Athena and then the most ancient examples of Baroque art, dating back to the 4th century. to.
