The Gallery includes  a conspicuous series of works: from Pietro Negroni to the "Maestro dell'Annuncio ai pastori" from Vaccaro to Giaquinto and Bardellino, from Solimena to Luca Giordano, well representing Neapolitan and southern artists in general. And yet the heritage of the Gallery goes beyond the borders of the ancient Kingdom of Naples with very fine examples of Bolognese, Genoese, Marchese, Venetian and Roman art.
